My battery has 6V (tested with a multimeter). The app Battery of System 7
indicates that it is fully charged. When I remove electricity supply, the
180C shuts down. Does anyone know anything about it? (I resetted the PRAM,
also)

Thanks,

one or more cells in the battery pack has failed.

that's not surprising for a nearly 25 year old nicad battery pack, and
you're incredibly lucky it lasted as long as it did.

good luck finding a replacement battery though.

Thanks for your reply.
I obtained new infos: there is no more capacity.

Is the dendrite responsible for the lost capacity?

Your battery is dead.

Don't know about "dendrite" but you can get your battery re-celled at
numerous sites on-line and in cities around the world for reasonable cost.

Good luck.
